The need for help never ends. Servcom USA and Project HOPE aim to ease the need with a repeat of last year’s food drive success by doubling the goal in 2018, and our clients jumped in with astounding results!
Servcom USA Offers Prize To Customers Who Collect The Most Food And Raise The Most Money For 2018 Food Drive
Servcom USA is proud to provide superior IT support as a Rock Hill-based IT services provider, and it’s this superior reputation that has solidified our relationships with our many customers.
It’s through these relationships that our annual 2018 Back-to-School Food Drive was such a success!
Again this year, Servcom USA organized and executed a food drive together with our customers, surpassing our 2017 record and donated the collected goods to help those less fortunate in our area.
Providing boxes to all participants for food collection, Servcom USA scheduled individualized collection and pick-up efforts to make it as simple as possible for those offering to donate nonperishable food items for Project HOPE.
Project HOPE is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization helping needy in the area with crisis assistance programs, requiring roughly 10,000 volunteer hours annually. With the help of local churches, and private and corporate contributors like Servcom USA, Project HOPE responds to the call with dignity and hope.
Servcom USA partnered with Project HOPE for our 2017 food drive, and after seeing how well-received the efforts were in 2017, we doubled our goals for 2018.
The 2018 totals are:
- 325 pounds of food collected
- $1,150 raised in monetary donations
As a way to express our gratitude to our customers for participating, Servcom USA guaranteed a prize to the company that collected the most food donations. Since some customers expressed a wish to donate money, with the knowledge that Project HOPE might have relationships that stretch those dollars farther since many nonprofit associations are able to purchase goods at discounted rates and under tax-exempt status, these financial donations would cover more ground.
Chasing the opportunity to win a Servcom USA Account Credit, our clients vied to be top donor in one of two categories:
- Top Food Donation Contributor by weight
- Top Monetary Donation Contributor
Prepped with the supplied donation collection box, a scheduled donation pick-up time, a full list of which items would and would not be accepted, our fantastic customers went to work, and it’s an honor to announce those organizations whose efforts surpassed all others in each category:
